Class Policies:

Projects in the business department are designed to help students learn basic skills while preparing them for real world applications for both education and/or the world of work.

Projects in the art department are designed to help students learn how to use a variety of mediums, while exposing them to a variety of art and artists.  The class teaches students art appreciation and prepares them for advanced level classes at the high school and post-secondary levels.

Grading:

• Students are given 10 points each day for daily work in each business class and small one day projects in each art class.

• Other business projects are worth between 50 and 100 points.

• Major projects and finals are worth 100 to 200 points

• Art projects range from 50 to 200 points.

• Students are also given focus points for their time on task. They are expected to participate each day and do their assigned work, while learning responsibility and cleaning up supplies at the class end.

• Each student is expected to treat others in the class with respect and not touch each other's computers or art projects.

• All student grades may be checked by students and/or parents in "Q".
